To Gulu with Love: Oh Right! Hello my name is ________

To Gulu,

After two posts I realized that you do not know anything about me! So, here we go...

Hello! My name is Shelre ( pronounced Shellray) Prankard, and I am named after a family friend. I come from a family of 5 kids (including me), two older brothers, a younger brother and a sister. Yes, I am the middle child. I have two loving parents, four loving grandparents. I have two adorable nieces and one cute nephew who calls me RayRay (which has become my nickname over the past six years). Born and raised in a God loving and a baseball playing home in the beautiful nation of Canada. ( Go Blue Jays!)

I just graduated from Master's College and Seminary, receiving a Bachelor of Theology specializing in Children's Ministry. At first, going away to school was difficult as I was such a homebody. However, it was a life-changing experience. MCS gave me the opportunity to not only grown in my faith but to learn who God wants me to be. By going to Bible College, God opened a lot of doors. For one summer I worked at a Christian Camp where I got to hold cute babies and play with kids all day, it was great. For another summer I was a summer student at a church which later on completing my internship there. God has placed some amazing people in my life, some professors who became mentors, meeting my best friends, pastors who became some of my closest friends and supporters. If I went home and gave in to fear, I would not be going to Gulu.

- Favourite Team: Toronto Blue Jays

(favourite player: Ryan Goins ( GoGo), #1 for the KC Royals. Formally #17 for the Blue Jays)

- Favourite Colour: Purple and light blue

- Favourite food: Ice Cream and or pizza

- Favourite season: Summer- I hate the cold, why am I Canadian... not sure.

- Favourite quote: Chin up my dear

- Free time: DIYs ( do it your self crafts), read, play guitar

- Best time of the day: The afternoon, the best time to grab a tea and get stuff done.

- One thing I cannot go without: a hair band on my wrist and music (Of Course #1 is God)

- Eye Colour: Blue, Green, Grey ( they change)
